Infosys Develops Over 200 AI Agents, Net Profit Drops 12% in FY25

Attrition increased to 14.1% in Q4, up from 12.6% a year ago. The total headcount of the firm currently stands at 3,23,578, which is up from 3,17,240.

Infosys reported a net profit of $814 million for the January–March quarter of FY25, down 11.7% from $959 million in the same period last year.  Revenue, however, grew 3.6% year-on-year to $4.7 billion. The total revenue for the financial year stood at $19 billion, representing a marginal growth of 3.9%.  In rupee terms, Infosys achieved ₹40,925 crore in Q4 FY25 revenue, marking a 7.92% YoY increase from ₹37,923 crore in Q4 FY24 and a 2% QoQ revenue decline from ₹41,751 crore. With this Q4 weakness, Infosys closed FY25 with a negative 4.2% revenue growth in USD QoQ. Amidst this, CEO Salil Parekh, showed confidence in generative AI.
