Confluent, the data streaming company, has announced that its fully managed data streaming platform, Confluent Cloud, is now available in the newly launched AI Agents and Tools category on AWS Marketplace.
The move aims to simplify access to real-time data infrastructure for teams building and deploying AI agent solutions.
As AI agents become more prevalent in enterprise workflows, challenges around data access and coordination have grown. Without continuous access to fresh, reliable data, AI agents risk providing inaccurate outputs or failing entirely.
Confluent Cloud addresses this by enabling seamless, real-time data flows between systems, allowing AI agents to interact with consistent business context across tools and environments.
“Data silos are the single biggest barrier to making AI agents truly enterprise-ready,” said Shaun Clowes, chief product officer at Confluent. “By offering Confluent Cloud in AWS Marketplace, we’re providing customers with a streamlined way to access our platform, helping them buy and deploy AI agent solutions faster and more efficiently.”
The new AWS Marketplace category is designed to accelerate AI adoption by reducing friction in vendor evaluation and procurement. By using existing AWS accounts for purchasing, enterprises can simplify licensing, payment, and access management for AI-related tools.
Confluent Cloud’s inclusion in this category is positioned as a way to give AI agents access to real-time, governed data streams, replacing batch-based, fragmented architectures. With this, enterprises can support scalable, intelligent applications and improve decision-making processes.
The listing also strengthens Confluent’s strategic alignment with AWS, offering customers a native cloud experience for deploying agentic systems.
