Presenting the Winners of the InnovateHER Java Full Stack Developer Hiring Challenge 🏆

After two rigorous rounds—an assessment of core Java concepts and a challenging hackathon to build a retry and replay framework—the top three winners have been recognised.

The InnovateHER Java Full Stack Developer Hiring Challenge, hosted in partnership with Chubb, was a resounding success! The event showcased remarkable talent, innovation, and technical depth from women developers across the country. 

After two rigorous rounds—an assessment of core Java concepts and a challenging hackathon to build a retry and replay framework—the top three winners have been recognised.

Top 3 Winners

1st Place: Pratheepa (Score: 32.5)

Pratheepa impressed judges with her robust and secure Retry and Replay Framework built with Spring Boot. Her solution allows configurable retry strategies using Spring and Quartz, with features like email notification, role-based access control, and an intuitive dashboard. She provided multiple run options and environmental flexibility.

2nd Place: Ramya Gayam (Score: 32)

Gayam’s Retry and Replay Framework was a feature-rich Spring Boot application that elegantly handled failed transactions. With a polished Thymeleaf-based UI and Quartz scheduler integration, the framework supported fixed and exponential retry strategies, Gmail notifications, H2-based persistence, and a secure admin-user role setup.

3rd Place: Rutuja Dattatray Kale (Score: 26.8)

Kale built a powerful job scheduling system focused on efficient task execution and management. Her system incorporated comprehensive logging of job start and end times, along with success or failure status, facilitating monitoring and analysis. It also features error detection and recovery mechanisms to ensure reliable execution.
