The Dare in Reality Hackathon 2021, powered by Genpact in partnership with Envision Racing and MachineHack, challenged participants to develop machine learning models that predict lap times in a Formula E qualifying race. The contest  closed on 22 November having received a record number of entries. Within two weeks, the hackathon received more than 5,200 participants and 10,000+ submissions. Currently, a panel of judges are selecting the winners. Interestingly, the level of competitiveness in the final score is also marginally high (i.e. close to 0.01 to 0.001 difference) in the leaderboard ranking. Also, the hackathon had one of the highest prize amounts compared to any other hackathons hosted previously. The 'Dare In Reality' was indeed a first-of-its-kind hackathon ever host
