Availity, one of the USA’s largest real-time health information networks, inaugurated a new 54,000 square feet facility in Bengaluru on 21st August, marking a major expansion of its India Global Capability Centre (GCC).
The expansion comes as Availity has already doubled its India workforce in 2025, with headcount expected to be 3.5 times higher by year-end compared to January. Hiring will continue across technology, product, operations, and corporate functions, with a strong focus on product engineering, cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and data engineering.
With this new facility, India will play a bigger role in supporting Availity’s global operations. The centre is moving from product support to broader responsibilities in technology development and innovation.
Availity currently connects with more than 95% of payers, over three million providers, and 2,000 trading partners in the US.
“Healthcare delivery is complex, but Availity’s India GCC helps simplify it by engineering secure, scalable technology solutions that reduce friction across the USA’s healthcare ecosystem. This new facility reflects our long-term vision for Availity India as a core contributor to our global capabilities,” Vybhava Srinivasan, MD of Availity India, said.“As the healthcare industry evolves, our ability to tap into global talent and bring new capabilities to market faster is more critical than ever,” said Sean Keneally, chief operating officer at Availity.
