Infosys has announced a 10-year-long strategic alliance with HanesBrands, an American multinational clothing company.
The tech firm will serve as a strategic collaborator in its client’s digital business applications and data landscape, Infosys said in a statement.
As part of this collaboration, the IT company will deploy its proprietary platforms, Live Enterprise Automation Platform (LEAP), integrated within Infosys Topaz, an AI-first suite of services, solutions, and platforms.
The initiative will harness generative AI and AIOps technologies to help HanesBrands modernise core operations, enhance agility, simplify its IT landscape and unlock greater value from data.
By embracing AI-first technologies, intelligent automation and AIOps, HanesBrands aims to unlock hyper productivity, reduce operational complexity and accelerate its digital transformation.
Scott Pleiman, chief strategy, transformation, analytics and technology officer, HanesBrands, said, “As we continue to evolve our operational model, we sought an experienced collaborator with deep domain expertise and advanced capabilities in AI-driven transformation.”
He further added that Infosys’ AI-first approach and its proven ability to scale innovation align with the company’s long-term vision of agility, efficiency, and customer-centricity.
Karmesh Vaswani, EVP and global head of consumer, retail, and logistics at Infosys, stated that their shared dedication to innovation is focused on creating substantial business benefits and enhancing customer experiences through the use of Infosys Topaz AI and AIOps capabilities, which have now been further improved with LEAP.
Through this initiative, HanesBrands will address key strategic priorities, including technology optimisation, resource efficiency and cultural alignment, empowered by Infosys’ robust transformation capabilities and proven track record in the retail sector, the release said.
Infosys announced two other new deals in September 2025. It became the official digital innovation and green transformation partner for Glion Arena Kobe in Japan to enhance fan experiences and sustainability using Infosys Cobalt.
Finacle, the product suite of its subsidiary arm, will enable Bank CTBC Indonesia to adopt a cloud-based digital banking suite, improving efficiency, lowering costs, and speeding up new product launches.
At the end of August, the company and Mastercard announced a strategic collaboration that lets financial institutions access Mastercard Move more easily through Infosys Finacle, in order to speed up cross-border payments deployment and reduce the effort and resources usually needed for such integrations.
